Before I announce today’s stop I’d like to say ‘Happy 21st Birthday’ to my oldest son! He’s deployed right now and I’m hopeful his cake and ‘party in a box’ made its way to him in time for him to celebrate. I love you Christopher!!!

Paulette is someone I’ve long wanted to meet. It was after watching a video of her painting a portrait at lightening speed that I first tried my hand at painting one myself. She was so thoughtful and even commented on it in her ever encouraging way. People don’t always realize how a seemingly small deed such as an encouraging comment can make such a difference to someone. I never forgot her kindness and I was so honored when she agreed to participate in my book.
