It is both my personal goal, and my artistic goal, to have my life and art reflect my true self. To convey the importance of the things in my life that matter most to me. I strive to bring the highest quality of workmanship and materials to my artistic endeavors. These things bring me inner peace and personal satisfaction.

About Me

Pam Carriker is an artist, instructor, author of books Art at the Speed of Life,  Creating Art at the Speed of Life, and Mixed Media Portraits with Pam Carriker . Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she now resides in Granbury, Texas living on a runway with her pilot husband. Pam’s work and writing can be found in more than 60 art publications. She served as a columnist for Somerset Art Journaling magazine for several years and as a Directors Circle Artist for Stampington & Co.  She has created instructional Art Journaling videos for Strathmore Artist Papers line of Visual Journals, F+W Publications, and Intereweave. She has created a line of  stencils with Stencil Girl Products, rubber art stamps with Stampington & Co and signature mixed-media products for Derivan Matisse. Now, semi retired, she is enjoying a pursuit of oil painting and teaches locally periodically. Turning her ‘hobby’ into her dream job has been the culmination of a life-long pursuit of living a creative life and she firmly believes it is never too late to begin living Art at the Speed of Life™!
