Crafting a Holiday

Happy New Year to you all!

We had a houseful this year with all of our kids and grandkids home for the holidays. It was awesome and I’m beat lol! I spent a lot of time cooking, crafting and decorating so I thought I’d share a few pics with you. I just love homemade anything during the holidays!

learned to knit cables this winter

made a cute Santa hat from a CRAFTSY pattern

practicing cables with these ‘Winding Way Mitts’

love this eco dyed alpaca

My father in law likes to wear a knitted hat to bed so I made him this ‘Scrooge/Cratchit Night Cap’

I knitted some BIG stockings for the fireplace (the pattern is from CRAFTSY)

I got to try out my new KitchenAid ravioli maker

I knitted a ton of fingerless gloves lol

love this yarn called North Pole Hot House from YarnDyeit.com

New sock book, I love the patterns. I want to knit them all!

knitted this cute little sweater for my niece

made several kinds of candy

and now it’s time to put it all away, after a cup or two of coffee…

  2. Wow, loved all of your knitted projects, they all look as they would be very cosy and warm! But I am just in awe as to how you would find the time to make so many projects with everything else that you must do.

  3. Happy New Year to you and your family. Loved all the knitting. Have always wanted to knit some fingerless gloves. Now I am inspired. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Wow! what fabulous knitting!! Can’t imagine how you do all that and find time to eat! I wish you a most Happy New Year, Pam. One of my goals is to work (play) through your Portraits book this winter. I learn so much from you and and always gain confidence in the doing. Thank you.
