  7. Oh the line up of instructors just looks amazing! I would love to win a spot as we just don’t have the funds for extras like this anymore since we recently transitioned to me staying at home with our son Riley who has Cystic Fibrosis. What a wonderful way to stumble onto new inspiration! I came across your blog quite haphazardly and what a wonderful stumbling block indeed!
I am not new to art, but just recently took to art journaling, though I have seen some work by a few artists mentioned in the blog hop, what a bounty to have so many links in one spot. After I peruse your site for a bit I will bookmark this page so I can visit each and every one. And if this counts as an entry to Lifebook 2016, what a trifecta.

  35. I am a watercolorist and have kept art journals off and on for years. At present I have hit the “wall”. I can’t seem to pick up a brush to paint or even pick up sissors. The Lifebook sounds like the kick I need. I got excited when I saw your line up of teachers and can’t waite.

  36. Shared on facebook, and already receive your newsletter. I am so excited that you will be teaching on Lifebook 2016. I have your book and it is fantastic. I would love to win a spot on Lifebook 2016. I am fairly new to art but now cannot imagine my life without art as a huge part of it. I just love playing with art supplies. I have been a part of Lifebook for the last three years [basically that is how I discovered art] and it is fantastic as the diversity of teachers means that there are so many techniques and styles to learn from.

  37. I have been a member of the lifebook community since its beginning, and I have never found a group like it – it is so supportive, the teachers so giving and the lessons so inspiring. I would love to win a place on next years course + I can’t wait to dig into the new material.

  38. I have been a part of Lifebook for the past two years. It literally opened my world for me. I’m unable to go out much due to PTSD. I was at a low point in my life when I was thrown a lifeline and that lifeline was Lifebook. All the caring both with the teachers and students who share their talents and their work is totally amazing. Beautiful people making the world even more beautiful. I would love to win a spot for the upcoming year. Off to share this post…

I was asked to sub at the middle school in art until the beginning of November and I realize my husband is right. I have been neglecting myself. I need the healing and learning power of LifeBook 2016!! Thanks for this chance!!

What if I don’t like her? Maybe there now. I just know it’s time to embrace me. I need to love me.

  62. So thrilled that you will be teaching on LifeBook 2016, I actually requested you when Tam asked for future teachers. I am a great admirer and look forward to next year’s class. I just watched your class on the Documented Life and tried a self portrait…It pushed me in a new direction, so thank you for that.

  63. Already subscribe to your newsletter. This will be my 4th year participating in Life Book. It is by far the best ongoing online art journaling offering I have experienced. Would love to win a seat this year as money is very very tight.

  64. Lifebook has been an amazing tool in my grief journey after losing a child. I have learned so much from all of the teachers this year! Congrats to whoever wins!!!!

  66. Dear Pam thank you for the chance to win a space in Lifebook 2016. I’m quite new in art and I really need in my soul the prompt, the encouragement and the lessons from all the great artists of Lifebook in order to improve, become more confident and find my own way into art. I can’t buy my space into LB so I’ll keep my fingers crossed…!

  67. I love life book and have managed to participate in two years of it! As a single mom of a special needs child it gives me hope and inspiration. I’m so excited that Pam is joining next year! I love your artwork.

  68. I missed getting the artist gene in my family. My parents and grandfather were artists – I can design greeting cards but don’t do much drawing on my own. I think this class would give me the impetus to try more techniques and get more involved in “art”. I need to focus on my life – maybe leave some hints of who I was to my granddaughter.
    thanks for the chance.

  69. I would so, so love to win a place on Lifebook. I have had a difficult couple of years with the breakup of my marriage and learning to be a single mum. Learning to draw and paint whimsical characters has become my escape and my way to unwind – I adore doing this! Lifebook looks amazing, a way to learn both artistic skills and how to nurture yourself.

  70. Hi Pam,
Let me tell you I just love your art and think you are soooooooooo talented!!! I love all your instructional videos and can’t get enough. I am so excited that you are teaching on LB next year. I would be over the moon thrilled to win a spot!! Forgot to mention that I am very passionate about art, mixed media and art journaling! I especially love to draw faces and look forward to learning a lot from you and all the other fabulous instructors. Also, it would make a fantastic birthday gift as my birthday is in a few days!! 71. I would like a spot on lifebook because there is so much more out there for me to learn, and to have fun with creating. Altough you work looks very difficult to make, i would love to try it out.

  72. Pam, it is so cool that you are teaching at this event! I really want to win a spot so I can grow and experience these great teachers and community. I have subscribed and posted on FB too.

  73. I would love to win the spot in The Lifebook giveaway! Each year I look at all the wonderful things the project offers, but unfortunately medical bills take precedent. I hope I’m given the chance to be a participant! Thank you for that chance!

  74. I’ve learned so much from this years LB, still have a lot to learn. So I can’t wait til 2016. Such a wealth of information in such a workshop. Thanks

  76. Signed up for your newsletter and shared on FB. This community is amazing in so many ways and I’m hoping to continue on in 2016. Thank you for the opportunity to win a spot.

  77. Oh gosh! I have been a follower of Tam’s for a couple years now, and also you Pam, of course:). Also I’m a strong believer in the focus of LifeBook, in that the healing energy of art is a journey we all can benefit from. I’ve wanted to participate since the first year LifeBook was offered, but sometimes life gets in the way. I truly hope that I’m picked as a winner of this amazing giveaway. Peace to you Pam.

  78. Many thanks for the opportunity! I am isolated and trying to find a community that I can fit with… easier said than done! This looks like such a great opportunity to develop not only the technical aspect of art but the creative, emotional part as well. I would love to have the ability to stretch my wings and grow and to feel that I can call myself an artist. Signed up for your newsletter as well!

  79. I did all requested. I’m attending these draws, because they are the only way (with scolarships of course) for Life Book to be possible for me, since every cent available goes towards my studies to become an OT. Yet I’d really need some psychological support that Life Book tends to give to people attending.

  80. It would be wonderful to win a spot on lifebook 2016 . the teacher line up looks fabulous !! I love your work Pam Carriker your portraits are amazing

  81. I would absolutely love to win a spot for so many reasons! I’m trying so hard! As a mom, working full time as a nurse, I am taking care of everyone else 24/7. I need to make time for myself, I need to create and get my art out! Lifebook2016 is full of all the artists whom I adore, to learn from. Everything I want to learn is all here, I love mixed media. It would serve as a great way to keep me on task, like setting an appointment with myself to create the art that I need to get out…while finding my own niche! I appreciate this chance to win a spot. I love your work and your tutorials, your blog and your book!! I would be ever so lucky to learn from you, and all of the teachers here.

  82. I would love to win a place for the Lifebook 2016 course. So exciting to learn so many different techniques from so many talented artists! And to have finished my very own first Lifebook. Sounds like an awesome time. 🙂

  83. I just started signed up for your newsletter and realized yours was the first book I purchased on portraits! I would love to win a spot on lifebook 2016…great workshops and I have learned so much in following 2015,

Already subscribed to the newsletter and shared in Facebook

  86. Your art has a certain sense of freedom and I love faces. It would be so much fun to learn from you and the many talented teachers that are lined up for 2016. Its an experience I would love to soak in. I subscribed to your newsletter and look forward to it. And of course tweeted. Goodness is shared. All the best to every one.

  87. Hi Pam! I’m so excited you are joining into the list of teachers next year. Life book has been such a blessing in my life and helping me cope with my journey out of a struggle with dibilitating anxiety. I hope to never see that darkeness again and joining lifebook is something I feel will help keep me afloat. Thanks for the chance!

  88. I shared on Facebook, and I feel pretty certain I’m already on your e-newsletter but I am about to go double-check. LifeBook 2015 is my first year and I have been loving it so much that I want to keep going! (By the way, the date for announcing your winner is missing.)

  89. I would like to be a part of life book because of the sense of community. I was a part of life book in 2014, it was very empowering. I have missed being a part of this year.

  90. Hi! How wonderful to get the chance to meet you and your art!

I would love to win my spot on Lifebook because whilst my husband is super supportive of my learning about art, we are on one pay packet due to my staying home with our little one. I am so blessed to be able to do this but it does add strain, especially when I add my love for learning art. Winning my spot would let me join guilt free

Regardless of winning my spot or paying, I am eager for 2016 Lifebook.

  91. I must continue my creative journey that began just a few years ago when I retired. When I am creating I feel so alive…… let the LB 2016 be a part of my life.

  92. Thanks so much for the opportunity! I have always wanted to take part in Lifebook… it happens, some major life changes have now made it more possible….and so would greatly appreciate a win! More than ready to bathe my soul in the creativity and inspiration.

  93. A friend is doing Life Book this year and can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m excited to get in on the fun and get inspired!

  94. I have never been able to do LifeBook but I’ve seen what others create from the lessons and I’ve always wanted to do this course. So much inspiration and instuction from so many wonderful artists. I would love to win a spot. It would be amazing.

  95. Heard so much about Lifebook from other artists and would love a spot on the 2016 course. New to mixed media and already addicted to the endless possibilities of discovery, it feeds my creative soul. Only ever won one thing in my life and that was a big bag of hazelnuts in their shells. We did not have a nut cracker so daddy’s hammer was taken to this bag of nuts by 3 hungry kids. LOL we eat more shell than nut. Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot Pam and here’s hoping I am lucky. Tweeted and F/b

  96. I would LOVE to win a spot on Life Book 2016. Life Book this year – my first undertaking of an online art course of any kind – has been a terrific experience and one I have gained immensely from. I would love for all of that progress and inspiration and growth to continue. Thank you so much for this opportunity to win a spot, Pam!

  97. I’m a Lifebook virgin ;-), although I bought Tam’s 2012 version and I’m just finishing my last lessons of that package and I’m having so much more fun of it than I thought before!
Since 3.5 years I have a chronic disease (Lyme disease) and I’m finally starting to have more concentration and energy throughout the day. That’s why I finally can paint again and that gives a day so much more fun! That is why I would love to win a spot in Lifebook 2016 🙂
(p.s. I shared on FB, my name there is Johanna Johanna)

  98. It would be lovely to win a spot on life book 2016 to learn different things from all these wonderful artists would be a dream come true

  108. Pam,
What a wonderful way to start a new year with the resolution already determined. I have 2 of your books and have read them cover to cover several times now. I am hoping Santa brings the Portraits book! This seems like a great way to grow as a person as well as gain a deeper understand of myself and my art and creative skills. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to join you in Lifebook 2016!

  109. What a great opportunity to evolve ones artistic skills. To learn from the great mix media artists and their techniques for success. To be able to challenge myself to improve on a skill that I have come to love.

  110. Wow! Life book looks amazing! I would be honored to win — what an uplifting, inspiring, creative and talented community of artists! Congratulations Pam! Thank you for sharing your gift! xo

  111. I took part in the very first Lifebook a few years ago and since then my entire life has changed… separated after 20 years of being a stay at home mom, went back to school and got a degree, my nest became empty, I moved to a new town, and started working again for the first time in over 20 years. I’m ready to get back into art journaling and would love to be involved in Lifebook once again. Thank you for this opportunity.
