I have met up with several old friends from high school via Facebook. How fun to catch up and reminisce about ‘the good old days’. One of my friends was in art class with me and she asked me to paint her an angel. I used some new colored pencils recommended to me by one of the teachers from the SWM Art Teachers assoc. He very graciously shared his Prisma colored pencils at the workshop, so I just had to make a little trip to Michael’s today and wouldn’t you know they were on sale, so how could I resist? I used Pan Pastel’s a bit on the background. I just love the quote as it fits the meaning behind the piece to a “T”.
