I have revisited my little birdcages. It is fun to go back and pull from
past pieces. I wonder if I will ever tire of little birdies, but if I had to guess right now, I’d say no. They symbolize so much, along with nests and eggs. They really speak to my mother’s heart and embody the things in life that I find myself facing. I have just listed ‘Freedom’ in my etsy shop. I am now going to go and exercise my right to ‘the pursuit of happiness’ and start another painting:-)

How do you do this, so many new things. I think you have some little elves or fairies..something over there…lol Your work is always a treat for our eyes.
Breathtaking Pam and a beautiful blog post just so cute. I have some birdies about to take flight and head your way this week. Hopefully will make your laundry day more enjoyable lol. That face is a pure joy to look at in the Freedom ring canvas. i am going to have to buckle down and get some sort of portrait canvas finished of my own…your inspiring as always. hugs and smiles Michelle

Hi: Love (all!) your new work… wonder how you find Zazzle? My husband has an illustration site there and hasn’t had much success yet – curious to know how well traveled it is.
Love the story of the paper! Love seeing your other bird and cage art too! I would love to be able to get your subtle look!!
